We can either let ourselves be overcome by the fears we find in our lives, or we can use them as fuel to live better. Someone once said "Fear is nothing more than the obstacle that stands in the way of progress. In overcoming fears we can move stronger and wiser within ourselves." This weekend, 16 people shared their biggest fears in life. With hopes that talking about their fears, maybe we can all see how small those things are compared to what's important.
"I guess my biggest fear would be ending up alone. As cliche as that sounds, I can't imagine going through it all without someone by my side."
"That I'll end up having a drinking problem."
"My biggest fear is that I sent myself so far away from my home just so that I wouldn't make it in the way I want to at school, and that I don't get everything out of my life that I want. I have a lot of dreams and I know what I want in my life even though I'm only twenty years old. I'm afraid I won't have that."
"Midgets."
"That's easy. Looking back on life and having regrets. There's nothing worse than that."
"I'm afraid I'm not happy with the way my life turns out. Wrong town, wrong place, wrong person."
"To have lived with out any purpose and die with out having given back to the world."
"To be told I can't have kids."
"Probably my biggest fear is being unsuccessful. Going to college, paying for school, all of it, for nothing."
"That I won't ever find someone capable of loving me. That I'll be...unloveable."
