2. Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park
This is also in Atlanta and include both MLK's childhood home and the church where he was baptisted.
3. PinPoint Heritage Museum
This is in Savannah, Georgia. The museum celebrates Gullah Geechee community who kept their West African culture alive.
4. Noble Hill-Wheeler Memorial center in Cassville, Georgia
Booker T. Washington worked with Julius Rosenworld at the turn of the century to create school for Black children in the south. This is the first school they built in Northwest Georgia .
5. True Colors Theatre Company. Also in Atlanta!
They are dedicated to show casing African-American classics!
6. The Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama
Shows the history of slavery and racism
7. Selma to Montgomery National Historical Trail in Alabama
This honors the 54 MILE MARCH to protest inequality!
8. Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in Alabama
A display if the Civil Rights Movement and the struggles the activists went through
9. Slave Haven Underground Railroad Museum in Memphis, Tennessee
