1. Lay out

If it’s sunny of course this is an awesome way to spend your day off. Soaking up some sun and getting a tan is relaxing and rewarding (if you don’t get sunburnt that is). So don’t forget the sunblock and take a nice day off, taking advantage of what mother nature gives us.

2. Read a book

It doesn’t matter if you’re outside or inside, grab that book you’ve been wanting to read and get to it. Life is super busy and you don’t always have the time to enjoy the simpler things, but this the perfect chance to. So grab that book and grab a seat and enjoy your day off with a day filled with your favorite or newest book.

3. Make a yummy meal

There’s not always time in the day for you to plan out a nice meal. But since it’s your day off you have time to look up a fun recipe and try it out! Even if you’re not the best cook this is fun and can turn into something awesome and delicious!

4. Go on an adventure

This is the perfect chance to go somewhere new and adventure! Take some friends with you, take some snacks and just go! This is the best way to spend your day off. Go find somewhere new and just spend hours exploring and clearing your mind!

5. Go fishing

Grab a rod, jump in the car and find a local pond or lake. This is a super relaxing thing to do on your day off. Just spending the day outdoors and near the water can wash away stress and clear your mind for a better version of you.

6. Go hiking

This is a fun activity to get you out of the house. If the weather is nice and you like the outdoors than this is the thing to do on your day off. Find a local park and grab a water bottle and spend the day outside. Spend the day hiking and exploring while getting some exercise without even realizing it.

7. Go for a walk or run

Get out of the house and get moving! Going for a walk or a run will help your overall mood and help start your day off on the right foot. Weather depending of course, but if the weather is permitting get out and get on the move! I promise you won’t regret it.

8. Watch a new movie or show on Netflix or Hulu (Only If The Weather Sucks)

You don’t always have the time to catch up on your latest show obsession, but this is your chance. If the weather sucks and there is nothing else to do, why not curl up with a blanket and watch the newest movie or episode on Netflix or Hulu? Life is so unpredictable and you don’t always have the time to do what you want. So take advantage of this time and enjoy it!

9. Plan a weekend getaway

Today you have the time to do whatever you want. Maybe that’s chores or errands you have to run, but you may have a few moments to think about and plan a trip. Planning a weekend getaway by yourself or with some friends can be just what you need. Maybe planning a trip is what you need to get through the next few weeks of work! This way you have something awesome to look forward to and to keep you sane and motivated.

10. Hangout with some friends

You don’t always have the time to hangout with your friends. Everyone is working and has crazy schedules of their own. So if you have the chance to hangout with your friends on your day off then take full advantage of it!

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
