Its officially almost half-way through June. The summer is ticking away by the second, but with the current restrictions down here in Woodstock, GA its hard to picture what we should spend our time doing. I'm here to give you the ultimate summer bucket list fit for our time spent 6 feet apart.

1. Take a Trip to Downtown Woodstock

This cute, quaint area offers a plethora of shops and restaurants fit for any day out and about. Stop by Brooklynn's boutique or Ipp's for lunch. There are tons of fun things to do there!

2. Go blueberry picking at Berry Patch Farms

If you're like me, blueberries are one of my favorite fruits! What's better than getting to pick them yourself! Even with the current restrictions, Berry Patch is up and running expecting a ton of blueberries for everyone to enjoy by late June.

3. Venture over to Olde Rope Mill Park

Equipped with hiking trails, fish spots, canoeing/kayaking areas, biking trails, etc. this park is a must for those looking for an active and adventurous way to spend their day!

4. Hobgood Park

This little park is perfect for running, playing tennis, or just chilling at the picnic tables with your friends! I can say from experience that picking up a Starbucks at Towne Lake Parkway and meeting friends at Hobgood is such a fun time. Definitely a summer must-do!

5. The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta

Want to shop and just hang out with your friends or need some cute summer clothes? Well, the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta has got you covered! Equipped with many restaurants, a Starbucks, and all the stores you can think of. A visit to the Outlets is a must-do for this summer spent in Woodstock!

6. Go kayaking at Lake Allatoona

Located just west of Woodstock, Lake Allatoona is the perfect spot for a calm day on the water. Bring your boat, kayaks, and hiking shoes! This scenic lake will not disappoint.

7. Take a Target haul at Woodstock Square

Everyone can relate to their obsessions with Target. You go for one item and end up walking out with twenty (minus that one item you most likely forgot about). Conveniently for you, you can spend your summer in Woodstock doing some Target runs. There is even a Starbucks located inside! This makes the Target at Woodstock Square worthy enough for this summer bucket list.

8. Noonday Creek Trails

This is another great hiking spot located right behind Downtown Woodstock! These scenic trails are perfect for hikes with friends and family or just with your dog! A must to explore during your summer here.

9. Go to the July 4th Firework Celebration

Still on despite current restrictions due to COVID-19, the firework show in Woodstock Square is a must see for the 4th of July!

10. Get take out and watch the sun set

I know this is not a specific spot, but as a Woodstock native, trust me, summer sunsets are gorgeous here! Go grab a friend, some food, and a blanket! I would recommend driving up to Red Top Mountain or even just any place on a hill and just take in the food. Moments like those are just perfect ways to spend the summer.

I hope this list gives you some inspiration on what you can fill your summer doing here in Woodstock, GA! The sun's out. It's time to bring yourself 6 feet closer to having a fun and memorable summer!
