10 Ways To Know If You Peaked In High School

High school is an amazing time for millions of kids across America. This when you change from a little kid into a young adult and you get to watch your friends go through the same transformation. High school is a time when the worst things happen and some of the best things happen too. But, high school isn't forever; after graduation, you are officially out of high school and you're on your way to college, hopefully. Despite all of this, however, there are still kids that don't have the ability to really leave high school and just keep talking about the same memories over and over until someone's ears explode. These kinds of people are hard to spot until it's too late, so I'm here to tell you 10 things that mean you, or someone you know peaked in high school.

1. They talk about how they were Prom King/Queen.

Okay, we get it. Lots of people liked you in high school. No one cares now; you being royalty at a high school dance doesn't mean anything in college.

2. They wear their Letterman jacket constantly.

The stories about how you "could've gone D1" are old. If you could have gone D1, you would've. Stop talking about it now.

3. They wear their high school spirit wear.

Do you still think you go to high school? You don't, so please stop acting like you do. Buy some college gear.

4. They go home EVERY weekend.

There's no reason for you to go home every weekend and hang out with either friends from high school or kids STILL in high school. Do us all a favor and get a life.

5. They talk about their high school party experiences like they were yesterday.

Every party I went to in high school sucked. I don't know why you speak so highly of them all of the time.

6. They use social media to say how much they miss high school.

Those "I wish I could go back to the good old days" tweets aren't cute and need to stop. Grow up.

7. They go to high school events that aren't for alumni.

You don't go there. So that means you don't go to school events either.

8. They actually go to high school parties.

No wonder you can remember high school parties, you go to them all the time still.

9. They go to the same school as all of their high school friends.

Doesn't it seem weird that you're basically in high school still but with more people? It's weird to all of the rest of us.

10. They tell the same stories.

I know you and your friends stole a stop sign once. Please talk about something else.

Not everyone is meant to move past high school. All anyone is asking for though is that you don't bring us all down with you. Thank you.
