Snapchat game a little weak?

Slacking on the entertainment level?

Or just feel like you need to spice those snaps right up?

Oh, yes...I feel ya...spice is always needed.

Here are a few tips that will ultimately transform your Snaps into major royalty status overnight.

1. Add a LIT Song...

First- pick a song that not only you are a pro at lip-singing to but also your followers know as well. Maybe some Drake? Rihanna? Yonce is always a gucci option too. Oh!! We can't forget about Britney B**tch.

2. Master the Lip Sync

#hitmebabyonemoretime with that lip sync grind.

3. Snapchat dat throwback

#oops it's Britney B**tch slayin it again...not only do throwbacks catch the attention of your viewers but snappers will immediately connect with that long lost memory the song ignites for them. Ya, it's true, we could jam to the most current pop song that plays endlessly on Kiss108, however, I'd rather vibe with the 2000's classics any day.

4. Guest appearances made by Suitemates&Roommates = award-winning Snapchat production

Come on now, it's not a full-on production if your suitemates aren't around, let's be real. So grab the Serena to your Blaire and have your followers fall in love with your main hunnies. For me, I've got #suitemateJamie and #datsmyroomieMary; they are always camera-ready when it comes time for their close up.

5. #hitmewiththat #hashtag

Whether you are an over-obsessive hashtagger whose tags end up forming a paragraph long essay, or a one and done type of tagger, keep the tags short and sweet on Snap. Peeps rather sneak a pic at your professional entertainment skills rather than read your script-long hashtags. *NOTE: having a signature hashtag is ALWAYS a must ---- #xoxo

6. 21+ Props...

Ah yes, the fabulous and most delicious prop you can amp up your Snapchat with....wine, tequila, vodka, whatever floats your boat. Regardless if y'all are drinking or not, water shots are of course acceptable on a Monday night Snapchat production, it will for sure add to the level of "litness" of your overall snap story. Watch out water shots...here we come.

7. What filter do you like better?

Probably the biggest dilemma before you hit the "My Story" button. Do you go with black and white or the perfectly clear photo that makes all breakouts go M.I.A?? Ugh. The struggle is real. Well, whichever one you decide one, filters make your story pop! Anyone is Gucci, don't stress too much about it.

8. Basic Puppy Filter or Hotdog Frank?

"Well, I'm feelin' a bit basic today...where the puppy filter at??"

Oh, shit, make room for Hotdog Frank, he needs space to bust some moves.

9. Bitmoji + Stickers Galore

Mini you adding to the animated screen? Oh, I think YES! If you're not vibin' with the Bitmoji grind then give the snap stickers a go!

10. Have fun!

Congrats, you are officially the King and Queens of the Snapchat Game. Live it up and prepare for your next ultimate Snap Story to be out of this world fantabulous!

Be safe. Party hard and kill it my loves.

Much love.

~ xoxo

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
