10 Signs You Are Boy Crazy

1. You find a way to bring him up in every conversation you have.

Literally, your friends can be talking about anything else --  the weather, weekend plans, homework -- and immediately you find a connection in the story to a cute boy on your mind. This is a classic first sign that maybe the craziness is just beginning for you in Boyville.

2. Your friends cannot keep track of all the boys you are talking to, because there is a new one every week.

During conversation about your new bae, friends may have trouble focusing on the conversation as they are still trying to figure out which boy you are talking about. This is a classic boy dilemma in the friendship world. Ladies, be cautious, you may get some eye rolls from friends in the process.

3. You always plan your weekend around where boys will be.

Before the weekend even begins, you have a game plan. You know where to find the most males in one night and you dress, act, and plan accordingly. You know exactly what to say because you have had so much practice, and approach the situation with the utmost confidence.

4. Every single boy you talk to has a nickname so you can keep them all straight.

These nicknames depend on the situation and where you met the boy. Such nicknames can range from "Tinder Boy," to "Math Boy," and even to "Hot Guy From my Dorm." Whatever nickname you choose helps you organize your boy collection, and makes it easier when scheduling lunch or weekend plans.

5. You have a tinder. With more than 50 matches, or 100, and you have met half of them.

Tinder is serious boy business. You use it as a method of planning, organizing, and categorizing the type of boy you want to see that particular week. Now, the key with Tinder is to note that not all boys are as they seem on your iPhone. Have a game plan in case you need to run away from the creepy ones.

6.  You can recognize cologne smells instantly.

There is the common scent of the boy that you just love. It instantly can make you run for the hills or stick around. Whatever the case may be, the smell of boy is definitely a contributing factor. Choose wisely, ladies.

7. The phrase, "Oh, yeah, that is over," is part of your regular vocabulary.

Friends constantly check up about the boy in your life. Unfortunately, because you are so boy crazy, you have to move on after so much time. It is pretty common to have a new boy by the time the conversation arises, and this can be even more confusing for your fellow comrades.

8. Everywhere you go on campus you see a boy that you have had a thing with, kissed, or thought about having a thing with.

This is definitely an everyday occurrence if you are, in fact, boy crazy. College campuses are the perfect place to scope out the past and current boy game. Be careful not to appear too obvious, and choose appropriate responses to such situations if they arise. The classic smile and walk by is always appropriate.

9. You take cheesy pick up lines seriously.

The typical boy pick up lines are more of a turn on than a turn off. If you are truly crazy about a guy you may even find it endearing or charming. You thrive on the attention.

10. Things become so serious that your friends make you give up boys for Lent and monitor your activity.

If many or all of these signs apply to you, you have a problem. A boy problem. No fear, your friends will help get you through. The journey ahead will be challenging and never easy. Just know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, or a boy -- whatever gets you through.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
