1. Plan Ahead.

If you are anything like me, you will procrastinate. DON'T PROCRASTINATE. Start studying as soon as you can, it will make finals week a little less painful. Especially if you feel prepared for finals the weekend before finals begin.

2. Sleep more than usual.

During finals week, you don't want to be pulling long nights in the library. Lack of sleep will only result in lower test grades and a lot more stress.

3. Keep working out.

Working out reduces stress levels, and will make you feel like you can conquer anything! Just because your work load is more than usual doesn't mean that you should take a break from working out. Carve out about 30 minutes a day for a jog or light weight lifting.

4. Have an ice cream cone.

Just because it is finals week doesn't mean that their is no time for fun! Grab an ice cream cone one evening with friends to take a mental break from all your hard work!

5) Study in the morning.

If your schedule allows it, go to the library in the morning. If you have the whole day ahead of you, you will not feel like there is a time restriction hovering above your head.

6. Don't complain.

No one wants to be around someone who talks about how much harder their finals are compared to everyone else. Understand that everyone is affected by stress on finals week, not just you!

7. Turn your phone off.

If you turn your phone off while you are studying you will get a lot more studying done! You will be less likely to get distracted by social media or texting your friends if you just turn your phone off!

8. Pamper yourself.

Just because it is finals week, doesn't mean you have to take a break from looking nice. You could paint your nails, straighten your hair, or wear some nice perfume. Dress for success!

9. Call your parents!

Believe it or not, no matter how old you are your mom or dad will always have the best advice for hard times. They will always have faith in you, so take what they say seriously!

10. Pray

God has a plan for your life, so there is no need to worry!

Good luck, and happy finals!

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
