I'm not going to lie, I'm obsessed with vines. If you know me real well, you know that I'm quoting vines practically 24/7. While I'm sure that it gets to be annoying at times (especially for my best friend and roommate) I'm unashamed of my passion.

Last semester I went through a big phase of watching vines when I felt really down, or homesick, especially since it was my first time away from home. So, without further ado, I bring to you my top ten favorite vines that I always watch when I need a little pick-me-up.

1. "You're not my dad!"

I have no idea what it is about this vine, but every time I watch it I crack up. It's something about this kid's tone, facial expression, or overall adorableness (or everything combined) that makes me burst into laughter every time I watch it. Whenever you feel down, just know that you'll never be nearly as pressed as this child.

2. "Oh my god I love Chipotle"

More reasons to love Chipotle? This is just sooo cute, I just can't.

3. "Jared, can you read..."

Isn't it catchy, though? But seriously, this is all of us. In college. Just admit it already.

4. "Look at all those..."

We were all this young once. Don't judge her; she tried her very best.

5. "Look at these freaking bats!"

I also love Halloween. This kid is like a sassy grandmother, and I dig.

6. "Even though I look like a BURNT chicken nugget..."

I love this kid. We should all aspire to have just as much self-confidence as he does.

7. "Have you ever had a dream...?"

This kid is my soul animal. I hate public speaking, so I toooootally vibe with this entire vine. Not only is it cute and somewhat cringey, but it reminds all us anxious folks that we are not alone in this world.

8. "WHEN WILL YOU LEARN?"

THIS KID. Oh my goodness. I love to reference this vine in casual conversations with people because this kid is all of us at heart. Sometimes, the stupidity of other people just goes to your head and you end up screaming into a camera and ultimately becoming a vine, ya feel? Whenever I feel like crap, I always watch this because it makes me really that there are certainly people out there having a much worse day than I am. (FYI: the kid is talking about a recently developed Sonic video game in the unshown parts of this video. Guess it made him really mad.)

Apparently Vine is supposed to be making a comeback soon, and yes, I'm excited, but I also think it'll never be as good as these old quality vines. So here you go! Enjoy them while you still can (and while they're still available on YouTube!)

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
