1. You are not alone in times of pain and suffering.
“…we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5: 3-5
2. Your past does not determine your present or your future.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
3. We have all been made new and can live a new life.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
4. In times of anxiety and fear, give it all up to Him.
“…cast all your anxiety on Him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
5. We are never given trials too big.
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
6. Times of heartache will soon end.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
7. He has a plan for us.
“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Proverbs 16:9
8. He calls out to us when we are at the lowest of lows.
“…I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2:17
9. Even if others persecute you and abandon you, He remains steady.
“For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weakness, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10
10. You are graciously saved and loved more than you could ever imagine.
“For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace” John 1:16
