The famous exam time is here folks! Here are some Bible verses I love to refer to when I am very stressed out and cramming for exams.
1. For when nothing seems to be going right:
"For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans to give your welfare, not for woe, plans to give you a future full of hope." Jeremiah 29:11
2. For when you can't get over your anxiety:
"Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God." Philippians 4:6-7
3. For when you need the motivation to do that seemingly pointless assignment:
"And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:17
4. For when you need some courage:
"...Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
5. For when you need to be reminded of His amazing and perfect work in you:
"I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6
6. For when you need some extra strength to keep studying or wake up early for your 8 a.m. exam:
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
7. For when you probably could have done better, but you need to remember you're not perfect:
"Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ: for when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:10
8. For when you need some shelter for the days ahead:
"God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in distress." Psalm 46:1
9. For when you need some extra support:
"What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31
10. For when you can finally relax:
"Return, my soul, to your rest; the Lord has been good to you." Psalm 116:7
