For all of these recipes the directions are pretty much the same. Just combine all ingredients in a saucepan and stir together until fully combined. Personally, I like to put about 2 tbsp of olive oil in a sauce pan and add in the chocolate. Using a whisk, I coat all the chips in the oil and mix until its melted. I will then add any spices or flavorings. Then slowly add the milk along with other liquids. You don't have to boil the mixture, just make sure its warm. That's how I put the recipe together, and I think it works best. To thoroughly explain the process, I have arranged all of the ingredients list in the order I would add them.
Original Hot Chocolate
1/4 cup of chocolate chips, 1/2 cup if you want it to be extra chocolate-y
enough milk for a mug, this is usually around 1 and a 1/2 Cup
Aztec
5 oz dark chocolate
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of cayenne
1 cup of milk
Vegan, this recipe is a little special, for this recipe you will
put 1 cup of vanilla almond milk in a sauce pan and heat it up
in a small bowl, mix together 1-1/2 unsweetened cocoa powder and 2 tsp coconut palm sugar, add dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
Nutella

Butterbeer Hot Chocolate
1/2 cup butterscotch snaps, caramel would work though
3/4 tsp butter imitation extract
the real butterbeer from Hogsmeade is slightly alcoholic, so feel free to add some Baileys Irish Cream

15 oz milk chocolate
3 tbsp caramel
1/2 cup milk
1/4 heavy cream

1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 oz Bailey's Irish Cream

Lavender White
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/4 tsp lavender buds
1 cup of milk
