Go to your local grocer and purchase pre-made pizza dough, marinara sauce, cheese of your choice and any toppings you love (fresh basil is the best!)

3. Visit Local Historical Sites

Macon is jam-packed with historical sites for exploration! The place pictured above is the Hay House. This house is located right by campus, but there is more than just what meets the eye! The inside is very expansive and has a lot of Greek influences, but if you or your date are history buffs, you will love this location! (Right across the street is the Woodruff House and the Mercer Law School Lawn as well, both are great adventure places too!) A tour in the Hay House for college students is $7 per ticket! And you can take a tower tour of the upper osculus as well! Check out the website for hours and more details!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
