In the land of the free and home of the rage, also known as the Dirty, there are many types of parties. From the greek Fraternity function, to the basic house party here is a look at ALL the party scenes in Moscow, Idaho.
The sober party. No alcohol or drugs of any kind. While sometimes fun, these generally get you to thinking of what you don't have at that moment. Alcohol.
The Foreign exchange students party. Full of people from all over the globe, especially from Saudi Arabia and Brazil. There are so many people speaking other languages here, you may forget you're in Idaho. Beware of the party becoming so packed you have the inability to move.
Also be aware that they tend to have jello shots!
The house party, the basic party everyone has generally gone too. Usually BYOB (Bring your own beverage) - when booze is provided you are always afraid when they might run out.
The “Frat” party. A classic really, from Beta Ladies night, to Sigma Chi Blue Mondays, this is usually the bread and butter for an under age sorority girl. Having boobs equals free alcohol, although it's always nice to BYOB. Either way it’s usually a good time, especially when it's themed.
Then you have Greek family night, a whole different party of its own. It's when the members of a Greek family (All the grand bigs, bigs, littles, twins) get together. Depending on the family it can go from mild to wild. No matter what, having the whole gang puts everyone in a good mood.
After nights and nights of drinking, sometimes it can be nice to kick back and do what the cougars do. Smoke down. The stoner party, also known as a SBS or Super Blunt Sunday, is having a group of people over to smoke marijuana. All you need is a heap full of cannabis to start your night.
Newcomers are always welcome...
Then you have band kid parties. While you may get flashbacks of American Pie’s Band Camp, these kids do not mess around.
Party on Moscow!
