1. Ramen

Hands down, the most essential item on this list! As you're reading this article, you most likely have a pack of it somewhere in your room. It might not be exactly healthy, but it certainly is cheap and that's good enough for me.

2. Kraft Easy Mac

This one goes hand and hand with ramen in terms of being a classic dorm room staple. Not only is it pretty great, but it makes a fast meal if you don't have enough time to head over to the cafeteria.

3. Popcorn

The only snack to ever have for movie nights with your friends. Trust me, you'll have a lot of movie nights throughout the year.

4. Cereal

Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, many students don't have enough meal swipes to go to the cafeteria in the morning. So grab a bowl, buy some milk, and you have yourself a quick and easy breakfast before class.

5. Pop-Tarts

Most students won't have microwaves in their dorm room, but eating Pop-Tarts cold works just as well. Even better, Pop-Tarts are the perfect grab and go snack.

6. Coffee

Yes, I know coffee is not a type of food, but you cannot deny that it is essential to college life. Just don't forget your Keurig.

7. Goldfish

"The snack that smiles back" is a classic snack to keep in your room. Almost everyone likes them, so you can never go wrong with choosing to buy them.

8. Oreos

Double Stuffed, Pumpkin Spice, Caramel Apple, Golden Oreos, and many more flavors. The king of all snacks, Oreos cannot be overlooked.

9. Assorted Candy

Milky Way, Snickers, Kit Kat, Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, and hundreds of other options. Personally, candy is the best snack to have before you go to bed or after you did really well on test. Go ahead and treat yo' self!

10. Fruit Snacks

Last, but not least, fruit snacks! I don't think I've ever met someone who doesn't like them. So make it a priority to have them in your room.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
