Everyone goes through stages of being obsessed with some television series that's on either Netflix or Hulu. Here's a list of 10 must-see tv shows that are worth binge-watching for days!

1. "One Tree Hill"

I don't care if you're a guy or a girl, "One Tree Hill" is probably one of the best shows ever made. It's got something in it for everyone. From high school drama to love stories to basketball and even mysteries, "One Tree Hill" has it all. Hope you've got a lot of spare time on your hands because once you start you can't stop... and it's nine seasons long.

2. "Grey's Anatomy"

"Grey's Anatomy" is another show that is hard to stop watching once you start. "Grey's Anatomy" is one of those hospital shows but with many twists. "Grey's" will have you laughing one minute and crying the next. You'll never be bored watching an episode of "Grey's," that's for sure. The best part is that they are still making episodes today!

3. "Friday Night Lights"

I've never been a big football person so the beginning of the first episode I was questioning whether or not I would like a show that revolves around football. Not long into the first episode, an unexpected twist hits you like a brick wall. At that point I was glued to the screen. You definitely don't want to miss out on this one.

4. "90210"

I don't know about the older version of the show, but the new version is quite addicting. Through five seasons you get to watch high school kids in Beverly Hills make mistake after relatable mistake while they figure out how to grow up and live life. It sounds petty and girly but it's full of storylines for everyone.

5. "Gossip Girl"

I've had tons of guy friends who secretly admit to being in love with "Gossip Girl." The name of the show often throws everyone for a loop but it was surprisingly one of my favorites. Someone likes to cause a lot of drama in Manhattan's Upper East Side. You get to watch six seasons of someone stirring up secrets until you finally learn who "Gossip Girl" is. You will be surprised when you find out who.

6. Prison Break

"Prison Break" is definitely a show out there that's for anyone. Guys love the show because it is set in prison and girls love it because of the love story and good-looking men. You can't go wrong with watching a couple episodes of "Prison Break" for a date night.

7. "Pretty Little Liars"

Everyone has at least heard of "Pretty Little Liars" and girls always get the stereotype of "wow you really watch that?" Yeah, we do and guys do too because it has every single twist you can possibly imagine. Every episode leaves you hanging on for more. You can't just stop after an episode because everyone wants to know who "A" is. Whether you're reading the books or watching it on Netflix, you're in for a treat.

8. "Blue Bloods"

I always grew up watching "CSI" and "Law and Order." I hadn't heard of "Blue Bloods" until recently. It is very family oriented and can even teach some life lessons. "Blue Bloods" is a show that can break your heart and warm it all at the same time. It's definitely a show you won't want to miss.

9. "Scandal"

I've always been someone who is fascinated by how the political world works. Well, "Scandal" throws Washington D.C. for a loop and, honestly, it truly makes you wonder if things are really as they seem in today's world. In "Scandal," one woman and her team covers up even the biggest scandals for politicians and even the president. "Scandal" is definitely a show that will put things into perspective for you.

10. "Orange Is The New Black"

Of course you knew "OITNB" would make the cut. Everyone is always talking about when the next season will come out on Netflix and blah blah blah. Well to be completely honest with you, everyone talks about this show because it really is that great. It'll definitely make you laugh from time to time. If you aren't one of those people waiting for season four to come out, then you need to start at season one and watch it so you know what everyone is talking about.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
