10 TV Shows that Will Never Get Old
Hollywood Reporter

I love entertainment. I love movies, music, and most importantly... television shows. TV is how I escape reality day in and day out. Whenever I'm having a bad day, just need to relax, or absolutely need to know what's happening with my favorite characters, my television or computer screen is always ready to go.

Whether they're shows that I grew up watching as a kid and teenager or current hits that I obsess over, here are the top ten shows that I can continuously watch over and over again.

10. "The Nanny"

If you’ve never watched "The Nanny," I feel bad for you. This show was my life growing up. Between Fran and Maxwell’s relationship and Niles’ sarcastic comments, this show was gold.

Also, if Niles wasn’t your spirit animal, you’re lying.

9. "How To Get Away With Murder"

I'm going to be completely honest here, there are only two reasons I still watch this show; Connor and Oliver & Frank and Laurel. They give me life and keep me coming back for more.

8. "Golden Girls"

This show was my grandma's and my favorite when I was little, so watching it now brings back so many good memories.

7. "Boy Meets World"

We all grew up watching the love story of Cory and Topanga unfold, and now we get to see them all grown up and being amazing parents in "Girl Meets World." The show never failed to make us laugh or cry.

6. "Scandal"

Scandal used to be my favorite show. A couple years ago, hell maybe even last year, this would’ve been my number one choice. But the unnecessary plot points and the constant making up and breaking up of Olitz has gotten quite annoying. But the first two seasons were damn good television so you should totally check it out.

5. "Gossip Girl"

Ahh, "Gossip Girl." A show I only started watching last year because I always thought it was dumb when it was actually on TV. BOY WAS I WRONG. While the plots are a little too out there sometimes, this show was amazing. Or maybe I just loved the relationship between Chuck and Blair, I don’t know. But you’re lying if you say that this show didn’t make you want to live on the Upper East Side. Still waiting to find my Chuck Bass.

Xoxo,

Gossip Girl

4. "Friends"

No explanation needed.

3. "One Tree Hill"

A show that changed my life, gave the best life lessons and quotes to live by, and will always hold a special place in my heart. Oh, and I guess the Scott brothers were a pretty good reason to watch the show as well.

2. "New Girl"

The funniest show (in my opinion) on TV right now and a pretty amazing cast makes this one of my current favorites. I just might also be in love with Max Greenfield/Schmidt just a little too much.

1. "Grey's Anatomy"

There are so many things to say about "Grey's Anatomy." I started watching when I was 14 and now I'm almost 21. The show is twelve seasons in and still going strong. It's an emotional roller coaster with some of the saddest deaths known to man kind. But Shonda keeps me hooked and coming back for more every week.

P.S. I still cry on cue when I think about Derek dying. Not cool, Shonda. Not cool at all.

Honorable Mentions:

"Bones," "Pretty Little Liars," "Castle," "Full House," "Once Upon a Time," "Empire"

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
