There are so many new TV shows out there to watch, however nothing beats the excitement of Netflix or Hulu finally putting your favorite 90s show on it. I think the saying, "It's an oldie, but a goodie" fits perfectly here. Here are 10 TV shows that millennials binge watch.
1. Friends
I'm guilty of binge watching every season of Friends. I'm not sure if it's because Jennifer Aniston is simply amazing, but something about this show, everyone in it and the fact that it's in New York make it a must binge-watch. After watching these episodes again and again, I feel as if Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey are my friends, too.
2. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
"Now this is the story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down, and I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air..." Who else shouts the lyrics to this song whenever it's played? This show is funny at times, and also warms your heart. Definitely a must-binge.
3. Sex and the City
I have always loved this show, and I just about cried when The Carrie Diaries came out. The young Carrie Bradshaw from Carrie Diaries has always been "goals", and nonetheless when she grew up I still wanted to be her. This show is definitely one of the best Rom-Com's out there, and for sure something you can catch me and others binge-watching.
4. Boy Meets World
A classic. Cory and Topanga's love life, as well as other things they had going on in their life keep us millennials binge watching Boy Meets World. Girl Meets World came out but does not do justice to this original. However, it's cool to see Cory and Topanga keep growing up and more in love.
5. Saved By The Bell
All the pranks and crushes of this show make this a great show to binge watch. If only high school could have been like this for everyone.
6. Full House
Either you love this show or you don't. Personally, I grew up watching this show so when Fuller House came out I was nothing but excited. Full House has it all: comedy, romance, sass, family, friends, love, etc. Who didn't love watching Danny Tanner raise his kids with a whole bunch of family living with him? DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle (and Kimmy who inevitably became family) had such interesting lives. Watching Uncle Joey be Uncle Joey, and Uncle Jesse start his own family with Rebecca brought this show all around.
7. That '70s Show
Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and everyone in this show makes it absolutely wonderful and hilarious. Adulthood happens to everyone, and thank goodness that as we become adults ourselves we can do it along side these characters.
8. Dexters Laboratory
Who didn't want to be a child genius with a secret laboratory in the basement of your house!? Even though Dee-Dee always got into things that she shouldn't have and tried to tattle, she made this show great, too. My brothers and I loved watching this show, as we could relate. He's the perfect child on the outside, but a secret genius on the inside... what sister wouldn't be jealous.
9. The Power Puff Girls
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHILDHOOD SHOW. THANK YOU NETFLIX AND HULU FOR GETTING THIS. Sugar, spice, everything nice, and... oops Chemical X made professor a dad. Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup were badass and each had their own great personality. I will definitely keep binge watching these episodes.
10. 90210
The new version of this is pretty great, but nothing beats the original. These California high school students sure grew up with one heck of a life.
Find me procrastinating my homework and binge watching these shows along with many others. Just kidding, school is more important than TV shows. Catch me and other millennials binge watching these when we should be doing other things.
