10 TV Men We All Yearn For

It's just really unfair.

10 TV Men We All Yearn For

Ok, let me start of by saying that I know I write a majority of my articles about TV shows. Aren’t you supposed to write what you are passionate about? Anyway, my investment in all of the TV shows I watch comes with its positives and negatives. Since I have such an obsessive personality, I become deeply committed to them all. With every TV show, there always seems to be one fictional male character that I wish I could date and/or marry. This probably sounds absolutely ridiculous and I agree. They give such high expectations for real life it is truly unfair. Yet, these TV men and their characteristics are ones we look for in an actual companion. Although this is close to impossible to find, it is always nice to live vicariously through TV and embrace what we wish we could have.

1. Jim Halpert

If you have ever even seen one episode of The Office you know this to be true. His huge heart and smile reflects on everyone around him, especially Pam. It is something that I have never seen before.

2. Jesse Katsopolis

Do I even have to say anything about Uncle Jesse? Even when he tries to stay “hip” he always does what is best for his family. He isn’t half bad to look at either.

3. Lucas Scott

I can hear it now: “Nathan is way better!” Yes, I do like Nathan but I think he is too perfect. We need someone with some flaws and that is Luke. I’d pick him over Nathan any day.

4. Chuck Bass

Chuck is one of the most unrealistic TV character ever. However, he just gets better with every passing moment and if the Upper East Side was anything like GG, he would be who we all would look for.

5. Damon Salvatore

The “bad boy” persona is one that I think most girls desire. He’s tough to deal with and comes off extremely careless but this blood-thirsty vampire would do anything for Elena.

6. Mark Sloan

The man basically died for the woman that he loved. That’s all I have to say and I think it's more than enough.

7. Jake Ballard

The man is a bit mysterious which is definitely thrilling. He will always take second place to Fitz which is completely unfair. Olivia get your head on straight, Jake is who you really need.

8. Derek Shepherd

My heart physically aches for McDreamy. When he smiles it feels like the whole world stops turning. The man is completely unreal and it is just heartbreaking. I would easily fake an injury for a consultation with this handsome neurosurgeon.

9. Chandler Bing

I could cry just talking about Chandler. He embodies just about everything women usually look for, humor, compassion, honesty, and sensitivity. His love for Monica is one that I admire so much and I think he is one of the greatest TV men of all time.

10. Luke Danes

I have given this a lot of thought but if I had to pick one TV man to be real and in my life it would be Luke. There is so much I could say about him but I can’t even put it into words. He has a tough exterior and doesn’t take anything from anyone, except Lorelai. He would do just about anything for her and Rory and I just can’t even imagine what it would really be like. “Once Luke Danes is in your life, he’s in your life forever.” Preach it.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.
