I can make fun on em because I am one of em.

1. We are special in our own kind of way.

2. Some of us are crazier than others.

If she talks about how she 'coulda won if only blah blah blah', RUN. She crazy. And it ain't in some good way either.

3. Our horses are always number one.

4. ALWAYS.

You think I'm kidding boy. You really think you could take his place!? I will castrate you right here and now if you so say another word. Walk away. Just walk away. Don't say any more. Please don't touch. In fact, don't even look at my horse. You are not worthy of his glory.

5. Most of us actually don't prefer to date bull riders.

I still have yet to meet a faithful bull rider. So there is that. But I mean hey, if you're out there and you feel like we're a match enlighten me. And my b in advance. Blame it on your fellow bull riders.

6. Some of us actually can ride.

Honey, try me. I'll out ride you any day of the week. Don't have much to say about the girl sitting next to me, but count me in for a bronc ride. Or two. Or three. Just so long as the mom doesn't find out. I can't make the pickup payment AND my insurance. Bless her soul.

7. Honestly, some of us could ride broncs better than a few guys.

You've seen my barrel horse right? It breathes fire. I fear nothing.

8. We have great playlists.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Cody Johnson

Reckless Kelly

John Moreland

William Clark Green

Hank Williams Jr.

Whiskeytown

Chris LeDoux

Eli Young Band

Parker McCollum

Sam Riggs

Koe Wetzel

Need I say more...? Yeah, I didn't think so either.

9. Not all of us are buckle bunnies.

DON'T GET ME WRONG. I KNOW THEY'RE OUT THERE. But don't assume all of us are. You know like I personally want to own a ranch, some bucking horses. A nice trailer and pickup. A couple hundred acres. You know, and do it with hard work and perseverance. But that's just me. I mean. Well... yeah.

10. Not all of us just sit there.

Please don't tell me how all barrel racers 'just sit there' when I am up here wiping and kicking this push style horse. If you still care to argue with me, please take a ride on him and show me how I just sit there. Then we can see what happens. And we shall see how you continue to dispute other wise.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
