Now, I don’t know about y’all but I was practically raised on Veggie Tales. (True Confession: I still watch it sometimes.) Anyways, who would have ever thought that Veggie Tales would ever so accurately describe college life? Here are 10 times it does:

1. When you ask the professor about the due date that was clearly stated on his syllabus.

2. When people tell you that some event or some presentation is going to be "TONS of fun" or "sooo interesting."

3. When a tour guide talks up the caf or dorms rooms to make them sound great.

4. When you see the 15,000 posters for all the student activities programs going on.

5. When you're forced to go meet new people.

6. When your family asks how the year is going.

7. When you suddenly remember that midterm that you have tomorrow.

8. Or when you ask your classmate over the morning's quiz.

9. When chapel that morning was on point.

10. And finally when you get invited somewhere with free food.
