Even on the days when he makes you the maddest you think you've ever been at someone, love him anyways.

10 Times To Be Thankful For Your Little Brother

Why I wasn’t content with being the spoiled only child, I have no idea. But growing up, I begged my parents for a little brother. When my younger brother finally came into our lives, I was the most excited I had ever been in my short six years of life. Although, I can promise you that I wasn’t always that ecstatic to have a younger brother. We fought a lot growing up and he did things to push my buttons every single day. But what brother doesn’t? Not everyone gets the opportunity of having such a person in their life, so here is a list of times to be thankful for your younger brother’s existence:

1. When he is born.

Even though it seems somewhat scary at first, no matter how badly you thought you wanted it, the day when you are no longer the baby anymore will honestly be one of the best days of your life.

2. When he has your back.

Little brothers are always there for you. Whether you’ve just had an argument with Mom and Dad, a bad day at school, or a fight with your best friend, they are always there to listen and support you.

3. When he comes to you for advice.

The first time your younger brother comes you to you and asks you for your opinion on something going on in his life will be one your proudest big sister moments you will ever have.

4. When you are homesick.

Nothing can turn your day around than picking up the phone and calling your younger brother when you miss home.

5. When you come home from college.

Spending time with your younger brother while you are home for the weekend or over holiday breaks is the absolute best thing ever. Just being together again, whether it’s running to get smoothies, going bowling, or biking the greenbelt, it’s such valuable time that you used to take for granted.

6. When he grows taller than you.

The day your not-so-little brother finally stands taller than you and you are crying on the inside at how fast he is growing up, look forward to knowing that you are going to have someone big and strong to take care of you.

7. When you need a personal photographer.

While you may have to walk him through on exactly how you want the picture to be taken, little brothers are always there to lend a hand and help capture the perfect shot for your latest instagram post.

8. When you need someone to complain about life to.

We’re all guilty about ranting to our little brother about everything he probably doesn’t care about and never will care about. But he listens anyway and that always makes me feel better.

9. When you experience loss.

Each time you have to go through the experience of losing someone you love, be so thankful that you have a little brother to not only lean on, but to be there for when he needs someone to lean on as well.

10. When you're convinced you know everything.

There will be times when you feel compelled to share with your brother everything you know about the world so far. And even though he probably thinks you’re crazy, he will appreciate your words of wisdom someday.

Little brothers are the absolute best people to have in your life. Even though they can drive you completely crazy, they also have something special about them that can make your heart feel so complete with love and happiness. So to my baby brother, thank you for being you.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
