Anyone who is a college student can agree that the four years spent living away from home are a series of ups and downs, but at the end of the day, we wouldn't want it any other way. Here are some times that the characters from Shameless pretty much spot on understood what it's like living as a college student. If you haven't watched the TV show, I 100% recommend; it's on Netflix!

1. When you just want some independence

2. When you realize you're graduating in two years

3. When you get back a "not-so-good" grade

4. When your friends are the absolute best and help/save you from everything

5. When you start to question if you even went to elementary school

6. When you realize you did your assignment that you spent 7 hours on wrong

7. When your own life is already enough to handle

8. When you and your roommate decide 3 a.m. is the best time for a dance party

9. When your professor says to put your books away because you're having a pop quiz

10. Not sure if this one is a compliment or an insult, but hey-- intelligence!!
