Finals week is upon us, and the stress of school is becoming unbearable. Never fear, however, because Ron Swanson knows just how you feel. Ron has wisdom for all the seasons of life, especially the stress of a week consumed with tests and projects. These are some good, old-fashioned Swanson pieces of wisdom in order to get you through finals:

1. When you find a hobby, it helps you destress.

Nothing helps calm the nerves quite like killing fish, I guess...

2. When you've been studying for hours and need to refuel.

During finals week, no one can dare judge you for the amount of food you consume.

3. When you finish your final group project and plan to never talk to any of your group members again.

Oh, group projects... You can't seem to work with them, but you definitely feel better off when it's all over.

4. When the person in your group project that doesn't do anything wants to pitch in the night before it's due.

You know those people who simply show up to stick their name on the project or have those "brilliant ideas" that aren't even a realistic option!

5. When those same group project members want to hang out after the project is over.

Depending on how your group worked together, you may never want to see these people's faces again. Let them down gently.

6. When you've studied all day and finally have time to eat.

All of it, just give me all of it. Eggs and bacon are brain food, right?

7. When that one question your professor said wouldn't be on the exam, is on the exam!

Ugh, the professor lied and I purposely avoided studying this question. At least it's not as bad as skim milk!

8. When you go into the professor's office hours to ask questions.

Coming into office hours can sometimes be a little awkward, especially when you're nervous.

9. When you try to calculate what you need to get on the final to pass the class.

Getting 100% on the final is pushing it, but 110% is ridiculous. Give it your all and know you've done your absolute best.

10. When finals are over and you can finally reward yourself with food, of course!

Finally free from stress, tests, and all night study sessions! Now time to eat and relax like a true American relishing in the victory that finals are over.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
