10 Times We Were (And Still Are) Peyton Sawyer

Alright, "One Tree Hill" fans, let's talk about our love-hate relationship with Peyton Sawyer. Some of us saw Peyton as the whiny, close-minded character in season one. Remember the girl who stayed in her closet all day, dated the biggest jerk in Tree Hill, and was possibly the most negative person in the world? Yeah, her negativity was always a little annoying, but she had good reason. Underneath it all, Peyton was an independent and compassionate girl that may have been just a little misunderstood. Let's face it: We've all been her at some point in our lives.

1. When you caught your best friend flirting with your dream guy.

It's happened to the best of us. We have all had that secret crush on a really hot guy, only to find out our best friend has a thing for him too. And of course we can't all be Brooke Davis.

2. And then you had to help her get over it when your dream guy broke her heart.

Whether you like it or not, friends come first. If you're a real friend, you'll put the guys aside and support your best friend.

3. So eventually, you became an independent woman that didn't need a man.

We've all been here. Soon another guy will come around and you probably will need a man, but for now, this works.

4. When everybody you were close to left.

Peyton may have had it the worst out of all of us by losing her stepmom, then her real mom, her potential boyfriend, and many, many more, but she still kept it together. Everybody feels alone at some point, and everybody thinks it's their fault. Thankfully, it gets better eventually.

5. When you were convinced that nobody really knew you.

I thought I'd get over this stage in middle school...but here we are in college, and I still feel this way 80 percent of the time.

6. That time you dated a douchebag and just knew you were in love.

Oh, boy. If anyone knows how to cure this one, let me know. Still suffering. But hey, at least we come to our senses eventually.

7. When you refused help from everyone.

"No thanks, I'm fine. I can do it myself." Except you really did need help; you just didn't want it. Does that ever end?

8. When you finally gained the courage to confront the girl you were jealous of.

Jealousy is the ugliest trait, and we all suffer from it. But one day, there is going to be someone that makes you so mad that you can't help but to tell her how you really feel.

9. When you were too sassy to handle.

Hey, be sassy but be classy. That's what I always say.

10. And finally...when all we wanted in life was Chad Michael Murray.

Aka the most gorgeous human being to walk the planet, and Peyton got him. Goals.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
