10 Times One Tree Hill Broke Your Heart

I am now thankful for those summer nights where you stay up until the sun comes up watching TV shows with your gal pals. If it wasn't for the summer nights of 2016, I wouldn't be writing this article.

Ahh, One Tree Hill. The TV show that has captured the hearts of teenage girls across the country. From the highs and lows, One Tree Hill is relatable to everyone. I was re-watching the series during the first few months of college with my roommate and now we present you with ten moments that One Tree Hill absolutely broke our hearts.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

1. The moment when Nathan and Haley are together again after he was kidnapped.

We weren't crying sad tears, but happy tears! It was the perfect moment until Nathan began to tear up. Damn it James Lafferty, you're supposed to make us smile, not cry!

2. When Clay and Quinn got shot.

The bad bitch herself. We were torn up about this one. How could you? She's psychotic!

3. Keith's death.

How could you...HOW COULD YOU. Why couldn't you have killed someone else...and why did Dan (our least favorite character) have to shoot him? *We almost stopped watching after this*

4. Quentin's death.

Just when he started getting his shit together...the writers took him away. Damn it, we actually were liking him more and more...

5. Quentin's funeral.

Low key tearing up as a write this, but this was too much too soon. We couldn't handle his little brother wearing his jersey, the eulogy, or the scene when Jaime put a cape on is coffin. This is when you know you're attached...

6. When Keith forgave Dan.

I know that I said I hated Dan Scott, but this time he's actually the good guy. He was trying to be apart of Nathan and Haley's lives, he saved Jaime's life, and he knew what he did was wrong. But as always, he died. That wasn't even the sad part though...he was reunited with Dan and he forgave him. This just gives me more of a reason to love Keith Scott and why he'll always be my favorite.

7. When Brooke finds out she can't have children.

We love B Davis and were absolutely crushed when we found out she couldn't have children. She finally found Julian (Brulian all the way) and wanted to start a family with him. For such a strong girl, she certainly was devastated like the rest of us.

8. When Brooke drowns.

Brooke Davis CANNOT die.

9. When Haley and Quinn's mom passes away.

This hit me close to home. I lost my dad this year and watching this just made me crumble. Who would wanna lose their parent? Speaking from experience, it sucks.

10. When Nathan gets kidnapped.

This was seriously so heart-wrenching. Nathan had transformed so much from when we first met him. His family and his friends were worried sick. We felt so bad watching him being held captive and getting beat by his abductors. God bless you Nathan Scott. We're glad you made it back safely.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
