10 Times Michael Scott Perfectly Explained College Life
Post Grad Problems

As much as we may not want to admit it, Michael Scott is one of the key reasons we die of laughter every time we watch The Office. Sometimes, he can actually be pretty relatable. Here are 12 times that Michael Scott perfectly explained college life.

1. When writing one of your many essays:

With the amount of essays being written between 5 classes, sometimes you just write and hope for the best.

2. When you have endless amounts of homework but would rather do anything else:

There are times when you just have so much work where you don't even know where to begin. Instead, you do anything BUT your homework.

3. When you spaced out during class and thought you'd be able to catch up but then you sit down to do the homework and you realize you don't:

Let's be real- we all have those days where we just can't focus in class. We try to tell ourselves we can figure it out but in reality, we just have no clue. Trying to do the homework later that night can be a major struggle.

4. When you have to go to class hungover after a night out:

Well, at least we made it to class but that doesn't mean there's no pain involved.

5. When you get an email from your professor saying the class is canceled:

Honestly, this may be one of the best parts of college. You get more time to lay in bed and procrastinate!

6. When you get offered free food on campus but have to download an app before:

Wow, free food on campus! But wait- you have to download their free app and sign up for an email list in order to get it. Sorry... I have class soon.

7. When you realize you have $0.20 in your bank account:

Finding a way to continuously have money in college is hard. Sometimes it's painful just to even look at your bank account.

8. When your professor is looking for a random person to call on in class:

In a lecture hall of two hundred plus students, you'd rather not have your name called out when you have no idea what the question was in the first place.

9. When all your professors have final projects due during the same week:

Do professors not understand that we have 4 or more other classes and having to meet with 5 plus groups to work on projects is not very easy? Especially if your professors are all in the same department.

10. When you failed a test but at least you're done for the week and can go out:

We have all been there- sometimes we just know that we bombed that test but it's nothing a night out with friends can't fix.

As much as we love college, there are some things that we all have come to dread. But we will get through it, just like Michael Scott always seems to as well.

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour
StableDiffusion

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
