In honor or the Gilmore Girls revival we have all been (im)patiently waiting for I decided to showcase the times the show accurately described life in college.

1. When you and your best friend hate the same thing

There are few moments in life that really make you bond with people, sharing a mutual hatred for people or things is the truest sign of a great friendship.

2. When you've been up all night (studying, of course)

There's no feeling more real than the one of complete exhaustion when you have to go to class or work after a night of no sleep. as Lorelai would say, the only thing that helps is "Coffee, coffee, coffee?"

3. When someone eats the food you've been looking forward to eating all day

The one major downfall of dorms is the constant threat that your roommates are going to eat your food. Food is sacred.

4. When you get a disappointed lecture from a professor, a coach, or some other authority figure.

You didn't know it was possible to still feel this small as an "adult." No matter how old you get there are still people ready to put you back in your place and knock you down a few pegs. It's character building.

5. When you finally reunite with your best friends after spending winter break apart

It's only been a few weeks but it felt like years without them, for a while you weren't sure you were going to survive.

6. When you lose all ability to function properly in front of your crush

You can't speak, you keep tripping over your own feet, and you're laughing way too loud....

7. When the stress you've been pretending not to have finally builds up too much

You've pretended to not have emotions for such a long time to push through the stress that now you can't even express the emotions in a normal manner. Everything's fine.

8. No matter how small your campus is, class still feels wayyyyy too far away

Getting out of the bed is hard enough, walking all the way across campus is just out of the question.

9. Finals freak outs hit everyone like a ton of bricks. No amount of compliments can stop the stress.

You hit one of two extremes, either nothing else matters other than acing all of your finals, or nothing at all matters and you're going to rely on your looks to get you through life. Both are entirely valid options when the stress really hits home.

10. When you try to tell your family or friends from home stories from school, but you really just had to be there

Every life event, every emotion, every moment we experience is somehow related to on this show.

With the revival coming up so many of us can thing of nothing else!

Here's to the steady stream of Gilmore Girls one-liners that will undoubtedly be running through your head for the next week.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
