10 Times That Dunkin' Donuts Dunked On Starbucks, From Donuts To Coffee

My blood bleeds Dunkin's coffee. Being from the north, I was always surrounded by Dunkin' and never thought twice about going to Starbucks. It just was never an option. The choice was always Dunkin', no matter the time of day. So, I will admit it, I may be wicked biased towards Dunkin', but you cannot lie to yourself either. If you have ever tried Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks, you would say how Dunkin Donuts is way better than Starbucks (whether it is the coffee, food option, or just the overall rating). Dunkin' Donuts will always win.

If you have been to a Dunkin' or do not believe me, I listed 10 times that prove that Dunkin' is a better option then Starbucks. #DunkiesForLife

1. Variety

I am sorry, but Starbucks, do you even sell any sweet treats? The perfect combination is a medium iced coffee with caramel and milk and a blueberry donut. There is always a wide variety of donuts. I mean, how can you go wrong with any of their choices? Just look how delicious they look!

2. Food

Dunkin Donuts offers more of a variety when it comes to their sandwiches. Just pair an egg and cheese croissant with a medium iced coffee and you have the perfect meal.

3. Price

Starbucks is charging for "grande." But there is nothing "grande" about the size. Dunkin is charging $2.88 for a medium iced coffee. At better size and a better price.

4. Tea

The Coconut sweet tea at Dunkies is nothing that can't be beaten.

5. Atmosphere

At Starbucks, you are paying over 2 dollars extra just for the nice cliche atmosphere, but you do not get any benefit if you are just quickly driving through. Dunkin never rips you out.

6. Bagels

The bagels at Dunkies are better quality.

7. Colors

Pink and Orange are very bright and inviting colors. Compare that to Starbucks, which is green, dark, and uninviting.

8. Perks Program

Way better than Starbucks. It gives you more of an opportunity to get more points and discounts. Dunkin' has special deals (depending on your town) like when the Pats won, you got a free medium coffee!

9. Logo

Who can be wrong with "America Runs on Dunkin'."

10. Coffee

The most important aspect, the coffee is way better. You are able to add more unique flavors to personalize it to your fit (blueberry, coconut, caramel, and French Vanilla, just to name a few)!

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
