10 Times Disney Caught You Right in The Feels

These aren't tears *sniffle* .. it's just my *sniffle* allergies.

10 Times Disney Caught You Right in The Feels
Disney's Princess and The Frog

I apologize in advance for the emotional rollercoaster you will experience within the next 600 some-odd words. I'd advise you go ahead and grab the nearest box of tissues and a pint of Ben and Jerrys. Got it? Okay good. Now you may continue:

1. Lilo and Stitch

Every Disney fan was crying all in their box of popcorn during Lilo and Stitch when Stitch was alone in the woods after leaving Lilo. Cue the instant wailing and blubbering when she quotes the Ugly Duckling in his sweetest little voice. It left all of screaming "OHANA, LILO! OHANA!" at our tv screens.

2. A Goofy Movie

After wanting to throat punch Max for being so sassy with his lovable klutz of a father in A Goofy Movie, we all died a little inside when Goofy pleaded that he "only wanted to be a part" of Max's newfound independence. It's okay, Goof, we want you to be our dad. *insert Goofy gulp-laugh here*

3. Up

Did you really think this article would be complete without Up? Considering everyone was scarred emotionally for life only five minutes into Up. Sorry Carl and Ellie, but I often fast forward in order to avoid the need for therapy. I'd suggest everyone else do the same.

4. Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3 left every 90's baby with a humongous lump in their throats pretending to be unfazed as grown-up Andy handed over his toys and his childhood (cough, cough, OUR CHILDHOOD) to Bonnie.

5. Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo totally destroyed your emotions with the murder of Pearl... and the Marlin's loving monologue to his only child survive. You never knew that the death of a clown fish could affect you so much, right?

6. Bambi

Disney continues a "dead mothers within the first 5 minutes" trend. Not only was Bambi a new found orphan, but alone in a freaking blizzard. Why, Disney, why?! Why couldn't you hire Ashton Kutcher to pop out of a pile of snow or something with Bambi's momma ALIVE and be like "Sike! We got you, Bambi! You've just been Punk'd?!" and let them frolic back into the forest?

7. Dumbo

Oh my lanta, if Dumbo's "baby mine" scene didn't leave you a sniffling pile of snot and tears then you, my friend, have no heart. Nothing warms your heart like the love of a mother and her child... and nothing breaks it faster than watching them be separated.

8. Fox and The Hound

"No! No! No! Don't you leave him! Turn around! Come back! He's already been abandoned once! YOU MONSTER! Todd, noon!" - direct quote from watching Fox and The Hound when Widow Tweed is forced to return Todd to the forest.

9. Monsters Inc.

When Sully had to leave Boo and we were so overcome with the feels that we didn't even consider why Boo's parents hadn't realized that she was missing for so long. "Oh honey! Where have you been?" "Oh you know, the usual Ma, practically got kidnapped by a giant shag carpet. No biggy. Btw, we need to re-evaluate your whole 'checking for monsters under my bed' strategy."

10. The Lion King

The epitome of Disney heartbreak: Mufasa's death scene in The Lion King. You felt personally betrayed when you were 6 and you still want vengeance at 22. Poor Simba.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.

Amidst my hectic college career, I always find time for one thing, even on the busiest weeks: Parks and Recreation. This show has made me laugh and has made me cry, but most of all I have related to this show more than I would like to admit.

Here are some "Parks and Rec" moments that relate to life struggles that just about everyone faces.

April Ludgate

April Ludgate from Parks and Recreation is notorious for her "I don't care" attitude. She speaks her mind without caring what anyone thinks of her. Fans love her because she isn't afraid to be herself. April can seem cold and negative, but she's really just fearless and strong-minded. And despite her sometimes harsh words, April truly cares about the people she's closest to. These are all reasons she is the epitome of a college student. April complains whenever she has to do any kind of work, but ends up doing the work anyway. April Ludgate is the ultimate college student spirit animal.

11 Ways To Live The Best Life You Can

Life is full of twists and turns, but you have to keep going.

Life is all about twist and turns, sideways and which ways. Nothing is permanent, so we should take risks, and chase our dreams. We are taught at a young age many lessons that will follow us into adulthood. What we aren't taught is how to feel, and how we handle those emotions. We just have to figure them out ourselves, and that's not fun. In my 21 years of living, I have come to know that way too many people can't handle emotions, or the fact that not everyone is dead inside like them. When you're like me, and you have zero control over your emotions, it's hard to feel comfortable around people who aren't so in touch with themselves. As much as I would like to feel nothing at times, I've accepted who I am and the fact that I can cry over practically nothing. So, there are some things in life that you just have to do.
