The term “Couged it” refers to a loss of a game that 100% should NOT HAVE BEEN LOST. This phrase originated at the one and only Washington State University, and has slowly progressed into the mouths of others sports fans. Referring to a team or someone who has "Couged it" has now transformed into defining an epic failure. With this popular term being used by other universities and leagues, we might as well give credit to those who truly, “Couged it,” the best.

9. Super Bowl XLVII

This was a hard game to forget. It was almost like the Broncos didn’t even show up to play. In the Super Bowl 47, the Seattle Seahawks dominated the Denver Broncos from start to finish resulting in a 43 – 8 win. A game that started out with the number one offense against the number one defense in the NFL, “didn’t turn out to be much of a contest.”

10. 2012 Apple Cup

What a better team to “Coug it” than our very own rivals, the University of Washington, Huskies. The Huskies opened the second half of the game with a 14 – 10 lead but, unfortunately for them, they couldn’t hold off the Cougs and the game went into overtime where they lost 31 – 28.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.
