Summer is rapidly approaching and the thought of it brings mixed feelings. For many college students, they are excited to go home to be with family and friend; but also said because they have to leave behind new friends and a new place they have grown to love. Below are just some thoughts we've all probably had at least once lately:
1. How will I adjust from being busy every night doing nothing at home?
Whether it's hanging out with friends making endless memories or studying until dawn for that one test, there is never a dull moment. I am not sure how I will adjust to having close to no commitments.
2. How will I survive without my college friends?
Already through the first year, we have found some amazing friends. Unfortunately, they are not all easily reachable in person now.
3. Kinda gonna miss sharing a room with about a foot to myself?
Definitely an adjustment at first. Now as the year is coming to an end, I cannot imagine sharing one of the smallest dorms in our entire hall with anyone else.
4. I should probably make a Netflix binge-watching plan for summer?
Gotta do something with my free time.
5. Wait, I haven’t worked out in like 15 weeks
Shoot. I need that summer bod ASAP...even though that's nearly impossible when I don't know the last time I went to the gym.
6. Really great having no summer plans right now
I totally feel NO stress at ALL about my plans this summer being UNKNOWN
7. Where should I eat first when I go home?
We've all stopped here first. All of us.
8. Will my mom yell at me for my new, healthy habit of sleeping in everyday?
This is how I wish to spend most of my days, thank you.
9. Why do I still have so much work to do?
Do teachers think the entire semester happens over these next few weeks??? Asking for a friend.
10. I get to spend everyday with the love of my life again—my dog
No one knows me better.
