Summers for college students consist mostly of working and your occasional road trips.

This summer in particular I am working both in retail and at the recreation center at Ball State. Many thoughts cross my mind while working there, so here are 10 thoughts I have had while working at the rec.

1. PLEASE stop grunting. You're only lifting like 30 lbs.

2. You are definitely not doing that right.

3. Why are you wearing like three layers while you're working out? Don't you know you are going to sweat?

4. Please stop awkwardly flexing in the mirror, I am uncomfortable all the way over here.

5. No I'm not watching you because I'm in awe, it's just my job.

6. Don't apologize for not cleaning the machine when you see me cleaning it. You will get my petty smile and head nod.

7. Why, just WHY.

8. What are you trying to do exactly?

9. Running that fast just looks awful.

10. What.... uh okay....
