As the new year comes so many resolutions are being made(and broken). Here are the thoughts we all have when we start one of the most common New Years Resolutions there is, working out:

1. "New year, new me. I'm going to get so fit."

2. "I'm going to come to the gym every day."

3. "Summer is five months away there's no time to waste."

4. "Wow, I'm more out of shape than I thought."

5. "I can push through, it'll be worth it in the end."

6. "I'm going to set *insert workout instructor/name of gym here* on fire."

7. "Maybe if I didn't eat so much I wouldn't have to come here."

8. "I'm fully aware everyone here realized how out of shape I am, and I don't care."

9. "This was the worst idea I've ever had."

10. "Yeah, I'm never working out again."

Maybe we'll have better luck with this one next year.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
