As winter break comes to a close, college students everywhere are starting to really think about the semester ahead. Some are still trying to shake the stress and frustration that fall semester caused them, while others are ready to take the spring semester head on. Whichever student you may be, here are some conflicting thoughts that may be swirling around in your head about starting the second semester as told by “Friends.”
1. Being excited to see the friends from school you haven't seen all break.
2. Getting to go out and have a social life again, without the interference of parents.
3. Trying not to listen to people talking about all the responsibilities that await you once you go back.
4. Remembering the fact that you have 8 am classes everyday this semester.
5. Looking at your bank account and internally cursing yourself for choosing not to go back to work over the break.
6. Contemplating whether or not you should brush up on your foreign language skills, considering you have a 300 level language class this semester.
7. Thinking about all the new people you have to interact with in your classes.
8. While also hoping the people you don't really like aren't in your classes.
9. Having to sacrifice homemade meals for your typical diet of fast food.
10. Being happy that you get to spend another semester at the school you love.
