Diablo II was released over sixteen years ago. It's graphics scream 2000, but the fun of the game is yet to be matched. Even Diablo III, released in 2012, has not captured the hearts of fans in the way that Diablo II has. Still, just like any video game, playing Diablo II can be stressful, emotional and extremely difficult. Here are ten of the thoughts any Diablo II player shares while playing the game.
1. Will Blizzard ever expand the capacity size of my inventory?
"I am overburdened" says the barbarian carrying four potions and two staffs.
2. The walls are shaking. It's going down for real.
Bring on the boss I will now be spending the next four hours of my life attempting to defeat.
3. I've already died five times. Might as well just throw myself back into the chaos.
I'm going to get my body back, or die trying.
4. There's nothing like glitching and getting stuck in a wall.
I'm just going to go ahead and click the mouse until my hand develops carpal tunnel, waiting for my enemy to magically get unstuck from the doorway.
5. If Warriv says "Greetings!" to me in that cheery tone one more time...
I couldn't care less what you have to tell me about Andariel. I'll see ya when I'm ready to head East.
6. I'm just going to go ahead and stand in rain that looks like pixel sprinkles and gather myself.
Might as well purchase a tome worth of town portals and load twenty health potions into my belt while I'm here.
7. I've already played every class fifty times, but I still can't choose.
We all know I'm just going to stick with the barbarian in the end.
8. Deckard Cain is like the grandpa I didn't know I needed.
It would be a shame if, you know, Blizzard were to kill him...
9. I have no idea what I am going to equip.
Too bad I don't have a blue weapon, or the all holy yellow item.
10. I am so glad that I am still playing this game, almost two decades later.
Nothing will ever be as enchanting as Diablo II.
