10 Thoughts Packer Fans Had During Those Last 30 Seconds

Wisconsin is known for their cheese, beer and I'd add football. Green Bay Packer fans are hardcore fans. They are loud and proud and will make sure you know they're around. We love our Packers so much, we even stick around during years of mostly losses (not to say it isn't heart breaking). There's just something so unique about those fans that choose to wear cheese on their head. As a fan myself, I understand that love. So I'm sure all you fans out there had some similar thoughts in the last 30 seconds of regulation as I did Saturday night. Here are 10 thoughts that ran through my head (but mostly out of my mouth).

1. I hate the Cardinals almost as much as I hate the Seahawks.

And that's saying something.

2. Time for redemption Pack!!

The last game was brutal. They looked pathetic and are back for redemption.

3. Why do we always have to make a come back??

Seriously though? It's pretty often that we see the packers trail going into half and end up coming back (or close) in the second half.

4. *drinking a Wisconsin beer* This is probably good luck.

You support the team, you support the state. The superstition is real.

5. GO PACK GO!

Such a fun chant. I love when I can hear the fans through the T.V. chanting GO PACK GO!

6. Can we get a pass interference call? Seriously??

Don't even get me started. There were quite a few missed calls in critical, game-changing situations. Such horse poop.

7. So much anxiety.

Such a stressful game. The final moments were unbearable. "Do I watch or no??"

8. Please God let us win this game.

Prayed to the football God's over and over that the Packers could come through with the W.

9. HAIL MARY BABY!!!!!! *sobbing tears of joy*

Best moment ever. Did anyone think this would ever happen twice? So incredible, and we still had a chance.

10. This time we aren't going to lose in OT.

OT again. This time we win. Lets gooooooooo.

And if you were watching the game like me, you know the level anxiety there was in those last 30 seconds. That second hail mary of the season! It was gut wrenching. Although, I think losing in overtime by a touchdown AGAIN to the cardinals in play-offs just like back in '09 felt, for all us cheeseheads, like someone had ripped our hearts out. Especially since I said this time we weren't losing in OT. Probably jinxed it. Piece of advice? It's probably best if you don't talk to any Packer fans for awhile.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

winter

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
