Shopping is one of my favorite things in the entire world. I love browsing the neatly folded clothes, trying on the perfect dress, taking my treasures home. Here are some thoughts that I'm pretty sure every girl has while shopping.
1. Wow, parking is hard.
I'm not really interested in walking a mile to get from my car to the mall.
2. Stores, stores everywhere!
This is the moment when I appreciate capitalism the most. I will fully enjoy this monument to materialism!
3. Oh, a sale! Let's go there!
Sale: my favorite four-letter word!
4. Everything is so pretty and new!
I just want to buy all the nice things! I want that! And that! And that!
5. Hm... that's expensive.
I'll just put this item back and walk away slowly. I can find something else I like!
6. Why doesn't this fit?
A size six at Gap should be a size six at Macy's, which should be a size six at H&M, but it's probably not.
7. Do I have anything at home that matches this?
I don't want to walk around like this. It's just not socially acceptable.
8. I need Starbucks.
All this shopping is exhausting. Time for a recharge! Carmel macchiato, please!
9. Ugh, I still feel tired.
My new tan booties are so cute, but they're killing my feet slowly.
10. I'm broke now. This is what broke feels like.
I guess it's time to head home. What did I buy again?
