We, as girls always think these 10 thoughts in the summertime. It's just how we are!

1."I need to work on my bikini body"

We can either sit at home, binge on junk food and Netflix or we can get up and go for a run. Every girl thinks they need the "perfect" bikini ready body in order to enjoy the summer. You feel you have to work out 24/7 but you absolutely do not have to listen to those people who think that, because you are perfect the way you are.

2. "It is perfect tanning weather"

The first hot day, every one wants to soak up the sun and get a good tan. Be careful though because I may have used too much tanning oil and practically fried my skin last year. 0/10 would not recommend.

3. "Let's go exploring"

All we want to do is go exploring to cool and exciting places and have some fun. It usually results in getting really cool pictures for our Instagram and that is totally okay with me.

4."I need a new bathing suit for the summer"

Even if you bought ten bathing suits the previous summer, you feel like you need a brand new one to show off this summer. None of the ones you have now, are up to standards according to you.

5. "You can find me at the beach"

Literally the beach is my paradise and my favorite place to be in the summer. It is just so relaxing and you can tan, lay in the sand, and have a good time. If there is a beach near me, you can definitely find me there.

6. "This warm weather is a blessing and a curse"

You wait sooooo long for the weather to get warm again, but sometimes it is not in your favor. Maybe your ice cream is melting extremely fast, or your hair is frizzing up, or it is just too hot to do anything.

7. "IT IS ROMPER SEASON"

I literally wait all year just for it to be romper season again. They are just so simple and cute and omg I love them. I hope you appreciate rompers as much as this girl right here!

8. "Country concerts are a must"

There is nothing like country music to put you in a happy mood. Country music screams summer and going to one of the concerts, is just AMAZING. It does not have to be just country music, but any concerts!

9. " So about school...."

Even when its the summertime and you are done with school for a few months, there is always that thought about what is going to happen once you go back. You try not to think about it, but it's just what we do.

10 "I want this to be the best summer yet"

Enjoy your summer and have the time of your life...and live life to the fullest. Summer is the time to come alive and enjoy this wonderful world.

4. You've traded in your cute purse for a large tote bag.

5. You have at least one car seat in your backseat.

6. Their nap time is your happy time.

7. Lunch time can be a disaster.

8. You have to play the same board games repeatedly.

9. You catch yourself using the same lines your parents once told you.

10. Your "mom-mode" kicks in at times.

11. Your heart melts a little when they do something cute.

You'll never find any souvenirs with your name on it

1. You know you are up next when the teacher pauses while taking attendance

2. When “I’m going to do my very best to make sure I know all your names” is said, it may or may be an empty promise

3. “Wow! That sounds so cool! Where is your family from?”

4. You dread when people ask you to repeat your name over and over because it “sounds so cool when you say it”

5. There’s a 50/50 chance that your name will come back either correct or incorrect at Starbucks

6. People try to find shorter, easier nicknames for you instead of calling you by your actual name

7. When someone famous or fictional character shares your name, you get so happy

8. “What’s your name?” “It’s [name]” “I’m sorry, what was it again?”

9. You’ve pretty much seen every misspelling and heard every mispronunciation of your name throughout your life

10. When you find another person with an “ethnic” sounding name, you both get excited

11. Despite the struggles, your name is pretty unique… just like you

3. “Do you speak Puerto Rican?”

4. “You look too light/dark to be Puerto Rican.”

5. “Do I need my passport to go to Puerto Rico?”

6. “Geez, you are obsessed with your flag. We get it, you’re Puerto Rican.”

7. “Why are you so loud?”

8. “So does your family know English?”

9. “Oh my god, Puerto Ricans are so spicy.”

10. “So did you eat a lot of tacos?”
