College is hard. No denying that. Sometimes we get stuck with a course that we just cannot seem to learn, no matter how many hours we spend at the library studying (or crying into our textbooks). We are all bound to have one class throughout our college careers that really just ruins our lives.

Here are 10 things that are bound to race through your mind after you get that first exam back:

1. What should I change my major to?

2. What are my parents going to think?

3. High school was so much easier.

4. Is it sane to have this many mental breakdowns?

5. I'd rather listen to Christmas music on repeat for the rest of my life than go to this class again.

6. This professor doesn't even care about us.

7. I'm giving him a horrible review on ratemyprofessor.com.

8. Wait, maybe I can save my grade with the final. Will it be curved?

9. Would my parents find out if I just dropped the course?

10. Maybe I'll just drop out instead.

Just remember, you are not alone in your struggles.

If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
