While walking to class I often find my mind wandering all over the place. Before I even realize it I will be at the hall my class is in. However, there are some thoughts that seem to be reoccurring, after talking to some friends I learnt these are not just thoughts I have but other college students as well. Below are listed 10 of the most common thoughts myself or my friends notice crossing our mind almost on a regular basis. Hopefully, you will be able to relate to some of them as well.

1. Do I have my keys? (Awkward pat-down of backpack and pockets to check)

2. Oh, good I grabbed my keys, wait..did I lock the door?

3. You look familiar, I wonder if I matched with you on Tinder?

4. WALK FASTER PEOPLE!!

5. What day is it today?

6. Oh crap, I should probably text so-and-so back it has been like a day... oops..

7. How many more days until the weekend?

8. Ugh..commercials are so annoying, I just want to listen to my music is that too much to ask.

9. I'm so tired, why do I always do this to myself? Alright, I am seriously going to go to bed earlier tonight, like for real.

10. Should I go out this weekend? I really should stay in and do homework but we all know that probably won't happen.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
