10 Thoughts About Senior Year Of College

Well I knew this moment was going to have to happen eventually. I just knew I would never be prepared for this moment. I knew that I was going to have to experience my last summer as a student eventually. I moved out over three months ago, yet it seems like I have really only had like one full of week of summer.

Here are 10 thoughts I am having as I am going into my senior year of college.

1. Is it really over?

No more long summer nights, or pool days, beach vacations or even summer concerts? Are you joking?

2. You mean I have to go back to studying, tests and waking up for classes before 9 a.m.?

3. I am not ready for this much of a change...

I was just getting used to my bed back at home.

4. No!

I don't want to pack!

5. I mean, I guess this is good. I get to go back to my friends from school...

...which means late nights, netlfix binges, and football games.

6. Maybe this won't be as bad as I thought....

7. Oh wait....

I have to figure out my class schedule....

8. I have an 8 a.m.?

Are you joking?

9. Ugh. I guess I should probably looking into getting my textbooks and stuff....

10. You mean that all this working this summer is going into textbooks....

Really?

As you can tell, I am not quite ready to go back and sure as heck not ready to be done with this gorgeous place I like to call my Home Away From Home.

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
