10 Things You Should Tell Your Older Sister Everyday, But You Don't.

You have been there entire my life, and I honestly take you for granted way too much! Through the ups and downs and you being my biggest cheerleader (literally) these are all of the thoughts I think every single day but never tell you (and I need to start doing that).

10. Thank You For Preparing Our Parents For Me.

I honestly cannot imagine being the "test" child for our parents. You were the first major responsibility for them........ so I am sure that was rough! But you taught them how to love in a way that is indescribable, listen in a way that is unteachable and cherish in a way that no one else will ever! You prepared them to be amazing parents not only to you but also to me and I guess I should probably thank you for that!

9. Thank You For Sharing Your Identity!

Whether I want to accept it or not........ thank you for letting me bask in your glory! For letting me be the Rory to your Lorelai, the Kylie to your Kendall and so on...... I grew up thinking you were the greatest thing since slice bread! I mean you still are, don't get me wrong! But I seriously admired you, I wanted to be you and tried my best to be and every single way, so thank you / I am so sorry (because that was probably really annoying!)

8. Thank You For Your Free Closet.

This is literally how I look when I try to sneak clothes out of your closet every time. On the days I have those "I have nothing to wear" it is so satisfying that I always have an extra stash of "new" clothes to throw into the rotation! As much as you hate this and call me out on social media when I post that new photo wearing the item, I know deep deep down inside you truly love it because I still have a piece of you in my heart, and it shows you that you are still in with the fashion trends. You're welcome in this case!

7. Thank You For Being REAL With Me!

You truly are the only person who has kept it 100% with me since day one...... and you definitely did not care about hurting my feelings in the slightest bit. But that's okay! You just love me so much that you could lie to me, and I appreciate that! Whether it was stuff I wanted to hear or not, I knew/know I can count on you for the complete truth.

6. Thank You For Being A Shoulder To Cry On!

From happy tears to sad, you have always been there for me! No matter the time difference or location you always make time for me, I know I take it for granted, but I truly appreciate every little thing you do for me. It is insane how you seriously put up with me, but you've been doing it for so long now that you're pretty much a pro!

5. Thank You For Being My Ride Or Die!

When we are together moments are priceless, time is endless, and laughs are ever overflowing. I love the time we spend together! Even if we are just sitting on the phone FaceTiming for hours, you never fail to make me feel better or brighten my day. It's crazy how we have this strange bond, but I honestly wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

4. Thank You For Helping Me Grow Up.

Although to the family I will always be considered the "baby" you helped me step out of that shell and become a real adult! While mom and dad still wanted to help me step by step, you encouraged me to think for myself, make decision for myself, and to learn my own mistakes-- but realizing you had to at least try first! These are some of the most important lessons of life and I thank you for molding me to be a better version of myself every day!

3. Thank you For Introducing Me To Stuff I Love!

Growing up I did not appreciate all of the things you tried to introduce me to. Mary-Kate and Ashley movies, S-Club 7, Mac and Cheese... I take all of those items to heart now! I don't know where my taste in music, tv and food would be if I didn't have you as an influence.

2. Thank You For Sharing All Of Our Childhood Memories!

From early Christmas mornings opening presents to late nights at our grandparent's house, we have been through so many things together it has been unreal, but I am glad I got the opportunity to share those moments with someone, and I am especially glad it was you. We can laugh, reminisce, and talk about situations only we understand. Priceless memories are the best memories!

1. Thank You For Always Being My Best Friend!!

Growing up I never really appreciated or realized our friendship, and I am sorry for that. I took for granted those late night talks, phone calls, fights, laughs, trips, and more. Now that we are both almost ready to adult, it's crazy how we are growing up and doing our own thing in the world, but it is amazing how our friendship has not changed one bit and when we see each other it's a reunion like no other!

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
