Fall has to be one of the best seasons of the year! Between the leaves changing and a little chill in the air how can it not be good? Country fairs start up again, the sweaters and booties come out of hiding, pumpkin flavored everything is back, and halloween is coming. Fall actives are some of the best. If you need ideas to prepare you for fall and what to do during these fall months then you should definitely continue reading!

1. Drink and eat pumpkin related foods.

You know it is fall when all of the pumpkin and apple flavors are back. Being that my favorite is pumpkin I get so excited when I see that pumpkin muffins came back. Just walking passed bakeries and restaurants that are serving fall treats will make you happy. It is the best time to even bake these treats for yourself!

2. Buy new boots and sweaters.

The fall is the perfect time to buy new boots, booties, and sweaters for the fall and winter season. Fall outfits are so cute since there are so many different ways you can style them. It's chillier out now, but you still have tons of options for what you can wear.

3. Go apple picking.

Take a day and go apple picking with some friends. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy the fall air with some friends and family. Pick and buy some delicious apples that you can take home and bake into an apple crumble or pie. Plus you can take tons of cute photos while you are there.

4. Go to the brewery's and try their fall beers.

If you're looking for something fun to do you could go to some local brewers and try their new fall beers. Grab some friends and head out there!

5. Go pumpkin picking.

Get your friends and family together and get pumpkin picking. There is so much you can do with pumpkins. Enjoy the fall weather, eat some fall foods, and pick the best pumpkins while taking cute photos. Then bring them home to decorate and carve, collect the seeds to plant or bake, and make some pumpkin foods.

6. Eat sweet corn on the cob.

One of my favorite things during the fall is sweet corn on the cob. Not the corn we usually make with dinner, but at a fair or farm stand when they have fresh corn on the cob.

7. Walk around country fairs.

Take advantage of your local country and craft fairs. Buy all the freshest local foods and crafts that were created right in your own town. You can find the best gifts and decorations for your home.

8. Go on hayrides and the corn maze.

You might think you are to old for hayrides and corn mazes now, but you want to know what I think? I don't think we are ever to old for them. Who cares what people think, just have fun and enjoy the fall festivities!

9. Drink some spiked cider with Friends.

Looking for some more adult fun, grab some spiked cider. You can go out to the farms or even make it at home.

10. Plan your halloween costume the entire month!

It takes time to come up with a creative DIY costume. It is a good idea to start looking and planning at the beginning of October that way if you decide to make it yourself you will be ready for Halloween in time!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
