10 Things You Know To Be True When You Have Sisters

Sisters can either be your best friends or your worst enemies, and there is usually no in-between. People who have sisters can relate, and those that don't should realize that having sisters isn't all rainbows and sunshine like you may believe. Here are 10 things you can relate to when you share genes with the girls you call sisters:

1. "Is that my shirt?"

This might be one of the most frequent questions you get when you have a sister. Sisters take your clothes without asking and hardly ever look better than you in them.

2. You always have dirt on each other

No matter what it is, how you know it, or how much you are threatened not to tell, you always have dirt to hold over your sisters' heads. You would never actually snitch on them because they have just as much dirt on you as well. Plus, snitching is just annoying after the age of 5.

3. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can pick on them except you

You can beat them up all day long, break both of their legs, or call them names, but the second someone else even thinks about hurting them you are after them faster than they can say sorry.

4. You always have someone to tell your secrets to

Sisters make the best secret keepers and the best advice givers. They do not judge you and genuinely want to help you through whatever you may be dealing with.

5. You can cry and laugh together simultaneously

While you are laying your heartache and stresses out to them, they are always there to help you through it all. They can usually give you a good laugh through all of the tears.

6. They make you laugh the hardest

Nobody can make you laugh as hard as sisters can. They get your sense of humor because, well, you're related and have grown up with each other. You feed off of one another's humor and by the time all the joking is done you are probably in tears from laughing so hard.

7. "What are we getting dad for Father's Day?"

Sisters are great for teamwork, especially for getting gifts for the parents. They are also great for when you need help conning your parents into letting you do something.

8. You have built-in best friends

No matter where you go or what you do, you will always find a friend in your sister. They really do make the best of friends.

9. They're the ones you hate the most...

Nobody is as good at picking fights with you like your sister is and sometimes you literally cannot even stand the sight of them.

10. ...but also the ones you love the most

Sometimes you cannot even stand going the whole day without talking to them. Sisters' love for each other is so pure and so comforting that you couldn't imagine life without them.

My sisters are priceless to me. They are the glue that holds me together and the foundation that helps me stand when I am weak. My sisters are the greatest gift I have ever received and I cannot thank my parents enough for giving them to me. If you have a sister, tell her how much she means to you even through all the chaos she brings.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
