We all have them, we all love them, and we're all thankful for them. That's right, I'm talking about best friends. The person you run to when your world falls apart and the person you celebrate your good news with. We know just how much we appreciate them, but sometimes we forget to tell them just how thankful we really are. So, this is me saying thank you.

1. For loving me even when I don't love myself

Thank you for seeing the good in me even when I don't. For loving every part of me, no matter how ugly. You see my light and love my dark.

2. For always being brutally honest

Thank you for always telling me the truth, whether it's about a guy or if that one dress really does make me look fat. I know I can trust you with anything, because you always keep it real with me.

3. For being ridiculously weird with me

Thank you for all the late night jam sessions in the car, screaming every word to songs we've played a million times. We might completely embarrass ourselves in public, but hey, at least we have fun.

4. For always being the life of the party

Thank you for always bringing the party everywhere we go. It doesn't matter if we're going out or just sitting in bed at home, you're always a good time.

5. For reminding it's okay to be okay

Thank you for being the rational one and always reminding me that the sky is not actually falling. You always make everything better.

6. For being there through heartbreaks

Thank you for holding me together when I can't hold myself. Thank you for all the "he doesn't deserve you anyways."

7. For always being totally in sync with me

Thank you for knowing exactly what I'm going to say and finishing my sentences. Everyone asks if we're sisters, but we're just really in sync.

8. For understanding my love of cuddling

Thank you for always cuddling with me even though you hate it. This is the one thing I'll never understand about you.

9. For influencing the best nights of my life

Thank you for forcing me to have fun when I don't want to. Most of my best memories are with you. You even make the bad ideas fun!

10. Most importantly, for being my sister

Finally, thank you for not only being my best friend, but for becoming my sister. I don't know if I could make it through this life without you!

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
