The dreaded week is upon us. FINALS WEEK. The one we couldn't wait to get to because then that would mean the end of the semester, but also the worst week known to every college student.
Right now I am #blessed because I only have two finals to take this semester unlike most people who have 5. I feel for y'all, but also I'm really glad I don't have to take as many. Perks of being a Journalism major. Yes, I have a 15 page paper due at the end of the semester, but it's not due till the 12th so I have plenty of time right? Calm down y'all I only have 5 pages left!
Here are 10 things I would rather do than study for finals:
1. Write this article. Instead of writing my research paper, I decided to write this article along with 3 other stories. To be fair though I did work on my research paper earlier today.
2. Go grocery shopping on a Sunday during the busiest hour of the day. I mean I have to eat this week, so I need to stock up on food if I want to survive finals week.
3. Call my mom for the 3rd time because two calls just wasn't enough today.
4. Scroll through the T.V. channels to find something good to watch. The Bounty Hunter was on so I obviously had to watch it. Who doesn't love Jennifer Aniston?
5. Do some laundry even though I just did a load the night before.
6. Fold that laundry and actually put it away, especially the ones on the hangers.
7. Check out the latest gossip on my favorite celebrities.
8. Check every social media site within 20 minutes in order to stay up to date on everyone's lives I follow. Maybe check and see if they are studying for finals too!
9. Ask my friend their opinion on what I should write about next.
10. And lastly, watch "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for the first time because I need to be #popcultured.
Okay so I obviously the only way for me to succeed this semester is by finishing my research paper, and studying for those two finals. At least my last final ends this Friday, then I can say hello to Christmas break! I promise to get back to studying first thing at the beginning of the week. For now I'm going to enjoy my last calm night of the week and watch "Breakfast at Tiffany's" because Audrey Hepburn is iconic in this role, or at least that's what I've heard. Going to find out now!
