9 Things We Can All Learn from Blair Waldorf
Blair Waldorf Archives-Gossip Girl

Though I was late to the Gossip Girl bandwagon and just recently finished the series, I was hooked from the first episode. Blair Waldorf, who started off as a spoiled, snotty, rich child, living as part of "Manhattan's elite", soon become one of the most relatable and dynamic characters in the whole show. There were times where we all absolutely hated her guts, loved her cunningness, or felt so gut wrenchingly bad for her. Though not always the perfect role model, Blair Waldorf can definitely teach us a thing or two. Here is some of her best advice!

1.

Blair always taught us to go after what we want. She lead by example, and fought tooth and nail to become a powerful, strong woman. She taught us to double our effort when times get tough, and never except no as an answer.

2.

Blair always went after what she wanted, and she taught us to do the same. We must seize opportunities, and pave a way for ourselves. She taught us not to wait on others to bolster our own success.

3.

She taught us to value our self worth. We should never feel as if we are not as good as others. You are the "destination"!

4.

She taught us to never give up. Have faith, and know that everything will be fine. You will get through any problem you are facing.

5.

She showed us how to seek help, even when it is hard. She taught us to discover ourselves, our hopes, our dreams, and the people that we want to be.

6.

Though B and S definitely did not have a perfect relationship, they both showed us what it means to be there for your best friend, through thick and thin. No matter how bad their relationship got, when they truly needed one another, Blair and Serena had each other's backs.

7.

We can be independent and happy with ourselves. We don't need a guy to be us feel fulfilled, or to make our lives complete.

8.

But she also showed us, not only how hard, but also how wonderful finding your true love can be. Blair and Chuck's relationship put us on such a roller coaster of emotions, yet they both showed us that true love is worth the wait. If two people love each other, they will find their way back to each other, no matter the circumstances.

9.

Most of all, Blair knew how to keep it real. We can't always be perfect!

Blair Waldorf can teach us all a thing or two about valuing ourselves, and living life to the fullest! She taught us how to be strong and independent, but also how to fall in love with your true other half. Whenever you need a boost, just follow some of Blair's most inspirational advice!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way.
