At one point or another everybody comes up with some sort of bucket list. Some are lucky enough to cross off most, if not all, things or adventures, while others live in the shadows of dreams. For me, I want to do the unimaginable, yet also the common realistic dreams.

1. Watch Shakespeare at the Globe

As a theater kid, who would not want to do this?

2. Fly first class

I have flown eight different times and each time has been in the economy section, but for once I would like to experience first class.

3. Experience true love

Every girl dreams of her love life, and most often or not they just want a man to love her the way Carl loves Ellie in the Disney Pixar movie Up.

4.Explore a cave

Ice caves and crystal caves are beautiful and I would love to see one, but unfortunately, I have seen one too many scary movies for that to actually happen.

5. Visit Australia... again

I never thought I would have actually gotten to travel to such a beautiful country, but now that I have, I definitely want to go back!

6. Visit Canada

I really want to visit Alberta, Canada. More specifically, Moraine Lake. I mean look at this picture, you cannot tell me it does not hurt your heart to know you are not there.

7. See a Broadway musical

Well since my dreams of ever performing on Broadway are slim to none, I at least want to watch a musical.

8. Ride in a hot air balloon

9. See the Northern Lights

I want to see the Northern Lights at least once but my goal is to see them in as many places and countries as possible.

10. Sleep in a teepee

Camping is a lot of fun and teepees are a part of American history, so why not do something I love and incorporate my country's history with it?

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
