10 Things To Do At UMD

If you are ever feeling bored or have finished school work and are ready for a change, take a look at this list. This is a list of lots of activities that can be done on campus and are very close and convenient for students. Students can access these facilities with their student IDs or some of them are open to everyone.

1. Join a club.

2. Participate in Greek Life.

3. Play an intramural sport.

4. Go to a SEE event.

5. Get school work done at Mekeldin Library.

6.Attend UMD sports games.

7. Work out at Eppley Recreation Center.

8. Participate in a charity event on campus.

9. Eat at Stamp instead of the dining hall.

10. Play pool or bowling inside Stamp at Terpzone.

Following this list will help you to fill your days to the max and make sure that you are rarely bored. The list includes activities that are located all around campus so whether you live on north campus or south, there should be something to do close by. In addition, the activities don't usually take up your whole day and are minimal time commitments if you join a club. Therefore, when thinking of what to do on the weekends or after school work is done, pick something off the list and try to participate in it.

Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
